The prototype of this plan is typical armored motorboat of Soviet Navy; most of ships were produced within the prewar period for the Navy based on Amur and Dunai rivers.
The plan shows the motorboat # 210, which took part in WWII fighting for the side of Onezhskaya (former Ladozhskaya) Navy.
2 T-28 tanks turrets armored this motorboat, in difference for the typical one.
Thanks to their extraordinary features all the armored motorboats in USSR had their second name as river tanks.
